About the role::
This position reports to the Finance Manager - DP World Sokhna, Egypt and the main purpose of the role is to be accountable for reviewing of all Financial Reports, responsible for making financial analysis and responsible for the business models
Key accountabilities will include::
- Job Allocation/ Planning of day to day functions to all the staff
s of the accounts department on daily basis in consultation with Finance Manager.
- Financial modeling and analysis
- Ensure that all statutory requirement of the organization are met including withholding tax, income tax and any other statutory requirement.
- Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures together with finance manager.
- Review of the Financial Processes and Procedures in line with DP World corporate Policies and Procedures and take corrective measures for deficiencies if any.
- Responsible for weekly and monthly cash-flow and its forecast and submit to CFO for planning.
- Participate as member of finance committee.
- Cash management and treasury duties.
- Ensuring that appropriate systems and internal controls are implemented and maintained
Preparation of TAX returns
- Assist CFO with financial reporting as required at board meeting.
- Prepare monthly financial analysis, budget v/s actual and present in the management meeting. Also report the budget status to respective managers on monthly basis.
- Setting up KPIs for all related duties and submit monthly performance to CFO.
Qualifications & Competencies:
- Bachelor degree in accounting/finance.
- CMA, CPA or related Professional Finance
- Minimum7 years of professional experience preferably gained in a large logistics management environment / multinational operations.
- Good communication skills in English language, both oral & written.
- Analytical skills
- Decision making skills
- Negotiation skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Advanced IT skills
